Collection: Reflector Film Reflective Film
The reflective film for liquid crystal is an optical material used to improve the brightness and visibility of liquid crystal displays. It is usually placed in the backlight module of the liquid crystal display, under the light guide plate.
The role of reflective film for liquid crystal is to reflect the light that leaks through the light guide plate to the bottom and back to the panel side, thereby reducing light loss and increasing light brightness. It is usually composed of multiple thin layered dielectric materials with high reflectivity and good processing properties.
The types of reflective films for liquid crystal mainly include white reflective films and silver-plated mirror reflective films. White reflective films can be further divided into white polyester reflective films and white polypropylene reflective films, of which white polyester reflective films account for more than 99.8% of the total. Silver-plated mirror reflective films are mainly used in small and medium-sized backlight modules such as mobile phones and laptops.
The reflectivity of reflective film for liquid crystal is generally required to be above 96%, while after coating with high reflectivity coating or silver plating, the reflectivity will be increased to above 97%, and the highest will reach 100%.
The application fields of reflective films for liquid crystal are very wide, including TVs, monitors, laptops, tablets, industrial controls, and other LCD displays of various sizes. Among them, white reflective films can be used for backlight modules of all sizes, while silver-plated mirror reflective films are mainly used for backlight modules of small and medium sizes such as mobile phones and laptops.
